Skills Building in HIV/AIDS Ministries

This project aims to support development opportunities for Hope for Life personnel (both local staff and cross-cultural workers). In doing so, it will build competency and capacity for effective HIV and HIV-related ministries, ensuring that Hope for Life can continue to fulfill its unique Christ-centred, compassion-driven and locally-led role in the ongoing global effort to address HIV.

Key to this is providing opportunities for personnel to be connected and equipped for effectiveness in their ministries and projects, including:

  • Coordination and support of the Hope for Life Network to facilitate collaboration, information exchange, sharing of best practice, research, etc.
  • Knowledge development and capacity building through access to training, workshops, studies, etc.
  • Exchange visits to see ministry application in different contexts, gain new ideas, foster relationships/collaboration and inform new ministry and project opportunities.
